Gabriela Soares, also known as Glam Girl Gabi, is a hairstylist turned influencer who shares her essential hair tips for women.
In a YouTube video entitled Life Changing Styling Tips for Mature Hair, the creator told mature women how they can create - and maintain - volume.
She told her 232,000 subscribers: "Getting volume in your hair when you're older is one of the most universally flattering things that you can do."
She explained that while many mature ladies style their hair with volume in the mornings, there are a few "key mistakes" they may be making which means the volume does not last.
She continued: "Just a few small changes will yield huge results."

The expert told mature women to firstly invest in the right hot hair tools, suggesting they ditch their flat iron in favour of a blowout brush.
She called the blowout brush a "life-changing hot tool" which "yields amazing results".
She also claimed that it's easier to control than a round brush and hairdryer when drying your hair.
However, because blowout brushes are hot tools it is crucial whoever is using them preps their hair with some heat protectant. This should act as a "shield" so that the tool is not damaging.
When it comes to styling, Gabi suggested that where many women go wrong is that they blow-dry their hair down, rather than up.
She explained: "You have to blow-dry it all the way up until the hair is 100 percent dry.
"You want to move in small controlled sections and blow-dry that root up in every single section - this is the number one way to get volume that will last you the entire day."
And this doesn't have to be too "complicated" - in fact, according to the expert, it simply requires "moving your arm up" alongside the blowout brush.
The second mistake many mature ladies make is "not freezing in the volume", so the bounce drops throughout the day.
Gabi told women they must allow it to "cool in a voluminous position in order for it to set its shape".
This can be done by adding some velcro rollers at the top of the head in a "mohawk placement", making sure the roller sits on its base.
Gabi explained that velcro rollers need heat to work, in order for the hair to cool down in its lifted position on the roller.
If the hair has cooled by the time the rollers are in, ladies can attach a diffuser attachment to their hairdryers and heat the hair for one minute before cooling for 10 - "it's the one thing that makes a huge difference not only in getting volume but having that volume last for several hours throughout the day".
