They needed some pieces on the offensive line, which was the worst in the league last season, and they did that by spending a little bit of money. They needed another running back and a new head coach, they did that too.

The Broncos have ben active in the UDFA market so far, with 11 players signed and several more with invites to rookie minicamp, including one player in particular who has taken another football league by storm.
According to Tom Pelissero, defensive lineman Trent Harris has had the interest of several NFL teams and has even been invited to the Broncos roomie minicamp. Now, some of you are asking who exactly is Trent Harris. Well, he is one of, if not the, best player in the XFL.
The Broncos have been watching the best pass rusher in the NFL's developmental league go to work, and he has been great. Obviously it's against lower level talent, but he has still been great with 9.5 sacks in eight games started, per The Football Database.
Before joining the XFL, he spent four years in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants, where he never eclipsed more than two sacks in a season. Luckily, the XFL is in place to give guys like him another chance, and he took advantage of it.
If he shows up to minicamp, be watching for how he does against NFL talent. If he stands out, media and coaches will let you know. This could be situation like the Broncos have had in the past, even as recent as last year, where they have two UDFA guys make the team in Brandon Johnson and Jalen Virgil, and both had touchdowns last year.
