Russian authorities warned Monday that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing to carry out a "major offensive" to retake control of the Zaporiyia nuclear power plant.

According to the spokesman of the pro-Russian governor of Zaporiyia, Vladimir Rogov, the Ukrainian Army is transferring artillery elements, including howitzers and multiple launch system, to the area.

Thus, the pro-Russian representative said that Ukraine is in the process of preparing a "big offensive in the area of the nuclear power plant, crossings and a little to the east", according to the Russian news agency TASS.

In addition, Rogov pointed out that, according to his intelligence department, the United Kingdom and the United States would be collaborating with Ukraine for the coordination of this counter-offensive.
