Spanish tourist dies after falling from a height of ten meters in West Bank

A Spanish tourist lost her life on Friday in the Judean Desert, in Cisjornada, after falling from a height of ten meters.

The incident took place in the vicinity of the Mar Saba monastery, a Greek Orthodox monastery located between the city of Bethlehem and the Dead Sea, as reported by 'The Jerusalem Post'.

Israel Police responded to the scene after receiving a tip-off, but could do nothing to save the woman. The local authorities have taken charge of the investigation to clarify the facts.
