Daredevil finally joined the MCU in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Now, Matt Murdock looks to participate in a major way with appearances in several upcoming streaming series, including She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, Echo, and his own recently announced series, Daredevil: Born Again. The question remains if this Daredevil is the Netflix one, or a new variant.

Several Daredevil variants exist in Marvel Comics and present opportunities for the MCU to explore. If the MCU Daredevil turns out to be the Netflix one, other Daredevil versions from across the multiverse are still likely to appear. As the franchise barrels toward an ultimate confrontation with Kang The Conqueror, many comic book Daredevils will likely appear in live-action.

The Earth-616 Daredevil provides the basis for the Netflix and now MCU version and for all other variants. He possesses heightened senses, including a robust echo-location that allows him to perceive people and objects despite his blindness. Daredevil also numbers among the best martial artists in the Marvel Universe, trained in a variety of fighting styles and weapons.

His skill allows him to stay in fights with powerful villains despite the fact Daredevil possesses no superhuman abilities and relies entirely on his skill, instinct, and keen intellect. His skills as a lawyer also gives him an outlet to do good through the law, as fans will likely see when he appears in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.

The Ultimate Daredevil from Earth-1610 possessed the same abilities as his main Marvel counterpart. That included a reliance on the billy club, Daredevil's signature weapon. Daredevil used the club to attack and defend and disguised it as his walking stick when he was in the courtroom or in civilian situations.

Ultimate Daredevil differed from the 616 version in his temperament. He proved more prone to anger and frustration, even outright attacking Spider-Man for being involved in superhero affairs due to his age. This made the Ultimate Daredevil slightly more driven, though the results were questionable.

Another Daredevil emerged in the Ultimate Comics universe after the first died in Ultimatum, among the most heartbreaking Marvel Comics storylines. Ray Connor displayed many similarities in his powers with Matt Murdock, including very sensitive hearing, though he had one major difference. A vampire bit Ray Connor, making him even more powerful.

Connor possessed heightened strength, stamina, and reflexes thanks to being a vampire. He also endured its inherent weaknesses, especially a vulnerability to direct sunlight.

Samuel Fisk, the Kingpin's grandson, becomes Daredevil in Earth-2992. He greets one of Marvel Comics' darkest timelines with a highly advanced armored suit akin to Iron Man's. Fisk possesses no superhuman powers, but his suit augments his strength and agility. It also affords him significant protection from most methods of attack.

In the suit, Fisk tracks and apprehends criminals mostly by thinking it. The suit intuits his directions and also houses numerous weapons, including a futuristic billy club. With Spider-Man 2099 appearing in the upcoming Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, this Daredevil variant may not be far behind.

Dare The Terminator fuses Daredevil's powers with Deathstroke from DC Comics in the Amalgam Comics crossover from the 1990s. Slade Wilson mostly shares the abilities of Daredevil from Marvel Comics but her echolocation and other sensory abilities come from genetic experimentation rather than an accident.

She lacks Matt Murdock's labored ethical sensibilities, seemingly very comfortable with inflicting violence and harm against her enemies, especially Engima Fisk. Fisk implanted the horns in her head, and then ripped them out in their final battle, ending a violent and chaotic life in the melded universe.

Kingpin ranks among Daredevil's most powerful villains in Marvel Comics but in Spider-Gwen's reality, Matt Murdock is the Kingpin. He shares the same heightened senses and advanced training as his main counterpart but enjoys considerably more power and influence as an international criminal. He also commands The Hand, with armies of ninja assassins at his disposal.

He also gains access to multiversal travel and his connection to Spider-Gwen opens a door for this character to appear in future animation as well as live-action.

Elektra took over the Daredevil mantle when Matt Murdock went to prison. When she donned her iconic costume, she instantly counted among the most powerful Daredevil variants in Marvel Comics. Elektra possesses telepathic and telekinetic abilities, as well as the power to throw her mind into others, controlling them for a short period.

She also shields herself from other telepaths, essentially rendering Elektra invisible with her ninja training. This, along with her unrivaled skill in martial arts, makes her especially deadly.

Darkdevil hails from the MC2 universe where Spider-Girl, Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson's daughter, lives. This Daredevil variant derives considerable mystical power thanks to his unique connection to Zarathos, a demon from another dimension who became trapped within his body. He wields significant magical ability, including the power to transform into flames.

Darkdevil also features some qualities similar to Spider-Man, including the ability to cling to surfaces and anticipate danger before it occurs, like Spider-Sense.

Numerous Daredevil variants exist in the Earth X universe, but the most powerful by far is David Jarrett. Jarrett gained immortality from exposure to the Terrigen Mists and possesses incredible regenerative healing that renders most injuries moot. He also spawns duplicates from himself in the rare instance that he loses a limb or other body part.

The Earth X Daredevil rides a specialized motorcycle and with his very distinctive visual look, he likely appears in live-action in some form if the MCU introduces multiversal Daredevil variants.

Another immortal Daredevil variant appeared in Earth-2149. A zombie virus infected this Daredevil as it did most superheroes and villains in this grim reality. Daredevil gained eternal life so long as he fed on others, and maintained his intelligence and agency despite his horrific condition.

With the Marvel Zombies series coming soon to Disney+, it's likely many more Marvel Comics characters become undead, and this Daredevil variant probably makes an appearance.
