App-based, on-demand companies like Wolt are rewriting the relationship between workers and companies. This week Yle News' All Points North podcast shines a light on the statutory contributions gig workers are liable to pay under Finnish law.

"It's a very good way to work and earn an income, but you have to know the facts before you get into it," Aicha Manai of SME lobby Suomen Yrittäjät told APN, noting that sales of 2,000 euros will likely leave a sole trader some 1,500 euros prior to paying income tax.
