The governing body has set a new date of February 14 for the hiatus to end, though that could be extended further with a review date set for Wednesday, February 10.

The Scottish Cup fourth round, meanwhile, will no longer be going ahead on February 20. No new date has yet been announced with the 2020/21 competition in doubt as some third-round ties have still to be played.

All leagues below the Scottish Championship, women's football and the Scottish Cup were brought to a halt earlier this month due to the spread of the coronavirus throughout Scotland. The situation has not improved enough for the SFA to feel comfortable lifting the ban as the country continues to struggle through its second full lockdown.

Clubs in League One and League Two remain optimistic that their seasons can continue in some form.
