Prince Harry reportedly had some concerns about the coronation seating chart, and wouldn't RSVP until he knew who'd be sitting behind.

Prince Harry is officially attending King Charles' coronation on May 6, news Buckingham Palace themselves confirmed in a short and to-the-point statement earlier this week, the vibes of which were v. "drama? what drama?" Behold:

Harry's confirmation comes just a few weeks before the coronation and (apparently) after the RSVP deadline-which caused a "headache" for the palace staff. But Harry had a very specific reason for waiting: he simply wanted to know who he'd be sitting with, a problem anyone who's ever attended a wedding full of toxic frenemies can relate to.

Multiple sources tell the Daily Mail that Harry's RSVP delay was due to him being "preoccupied" about where he'd sit, and that there have been "extensive discussions" between him and the palace about it.

"Harry's side was keen to find out, presumably because they wanted to rubber-stamp it, what the seating plan at the Abbey is," one insider explained. "There's been extensive back and forth about who they [Harry and Meghan] would be sitting behind if they came. And who would be behind them.'

Another source said, "This is true. There has been a lot of questions on detail for the Abbey."

Seating hasn't been confirmed at this time, but the Daily Mail notes that working royals will likely occupy front row seats at the coronation, while Prince Harry will probably be seated with "safer" members of the family to avoid "unhelpful body language" around cameras.
