When it was announced that Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins and her husband Lachlan Gillespie were divorcing, hearts of all ages broke.
But it seems 30-year-old children's entertainer Emma has moved on with a new man, and he's part of the Wiggles extended family. Now that they've gone public and were spotted together at Adelaide airport, here's what we know about her new boyfriend.
Emma's new man is Oliver Brian, who plays the guitar and banjo for The Wiggles.
The Yellow Wiggle confessed to Stellar that she is indeed "in love" and that the two had worked together and were friends of four years before he asked her out on a dinner date.
"He's very opposite to me," she told the publication. "He's a very calm and thoughtful person and I've always been interested in his mind and his take on life, and his morals. He loves talking about the environment and food production. It's not very 'Wiggly', but it's been nice for me to talk about things not just concerning ourselves, but people everywhere around the world." © Provided by Bauer Media Pty LtdEmma and Lachy announced their split in August 2018.
Emma also admitted that since she and Oliver started dating, she's learned to relax a bit more and stress less about the little things.
"I'm a bit particular. I used to worry about being late or not getting my pirouette right, but he's taught me not to worry and not to focus on myself, but to help other people. The last couple of months have been really eye-opening. I've relaxed a lot more," she said.
Meanwhile Emma's ex-husband and Purple Wiggle, Lachy is also dating within the Wiggles family and has found love with ballet dancer Dana Stephensen, but there is no bad blood between the exes. In fact, Emma was the one who said mum-of-one Dana would be "perfect together."
Emma and Lachy announced that they were divorcing in August 2018 and admitted that they naturally drifted apart over the course of eight months prior.
Emma revealed on Australian Story shortly afterwards that it was a mutual decision to separate and that they wanted to wait until the end of the year and then try and work out a way to make a statement to their fans.
"The media does doubt our affection for each other and they won't write about that. But we genuinely care about each other and we have been through all of this together. Out of everybody, the only person that really gets me is Lachy," she said on the tell-all episode.
