A woman has been arrested and a man is on the run after a customer was stabbed during an attempted robbery at an Adelaide pub last night.
Police said the man entered the Mawson Lakes Hotel at 8:30pm on Saturday and used a knife to threaten staff.
He tried to steal cash from the till but left empty-handed.
A hotel patron who tried to intervene was stabbed in the back during the incident.
He received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries before being taken by paramedics to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Other people threw chairs at the suspect.
A short time later, police arrested a 22-year-old Thevenard woman who was allegedly driving a getaway car - an allegedly stolen Mercedes-Benz - which had crashed on Metro Parade.
Police said it was stolen from Birkenhead on Tuesday night.
The woman has been charged with aggravated robbery and illegal use of a motor vehicle and will face Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Police are yet to locate the male suspect, who was last seen heading west on Main Street.
He has been described as being of Aboriginal appearance.
