In conjunction with the release of his new track Unknown / Nth, Hozier has announced he will play a set at Glastonbury Festival today (June 23).
Fans were excited to hear that Hozier is set to play a covert set on the Woodsies stage in between Courteeners and Warpaint.
This morning on Twitter, the Irish artist, who is best known for his famous song Take Me to Church, revealed his "not-so-secret" set.
The Irish soloist will be taking the Woodsies stage tonight at 7.30pm.
Fans can be certain that Hozier's performance won't conflict with The Churnups' set, which is scheduled to end at 7.20pm. The Foo Fighters are reportedly the mystery act, however, some have speculated that Pulp or Blur might be involved.
Arctic Monkeys will be headlining tonight's main stage. Festival co-organiser Emily Eavis confirmed the band will play as scheduled.
The band had to cancel its performance in Marlay Park in Dublin this week after lead singer Alex Turner became ill with acute laryngitis, casting doubt on the set.
The singer has released a slow-tempo new song from his upcoming album, Unreal Unearth.
Hozier remarked of the song's title: "The title comes from the expression of an unknown but large number, ie 'Nth'. The song reflects on having your heart broken by someone you trusted. You think you learned, and it happens again.
"It also recalls 'Ninth' or the 9th circle [in Dante's Inferno] of treachery. The song throws away the old premise of angelhood. None of us are angels. We are all going to break someone else's heart or hurt another person. Musically, there was a minimalist approach. In that cold, empty place, something else happened."
Hozier's third album will be released on August 18.
The artist revealed information on a major tour of the UK and Ireland for 2023 earlier this month. Additional dates will come after a current stretch of summer dates.
Hozier will perform shows in Europe and the UK in November and December following his summer tour and a run of US dates in September.
