Worlds of DC blockbuster The Flash continues to limp through its theatrical run.
Starring the controversial Ezra Miller as super-speedy Barry Allen and directed by Andy Muschietti, the movie debuted to just $55.1 million on its opening weekend - much lower than the box office forecast.
Now, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that even Pixar's Elemental raced ahead of it in yesterday's receipts (June 22), with $3.5m over $3.1m.

At the time of writing, The Flash sits on $144m worldwide, significantly behind last year's Black Adam that took an underwhelming $393.3m during its release.
However, it has improved on Shazam! Fury of the Gods' disappointing $133.5m.
Meanwhile, Muschietti was recently handed the directing gig on Batman movie The Brave and the Bold.
"We saw The Flash even before taking the reins at DC Studios, and knew we were in the hands of not only a visionary director, but a massive DC fan," shared DC Studios bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran in a joint statement.

"It's a magnificent film - funny, emotional, thrilling - and Andy's affinity and passion for these characters and this world just resonates through every frame.
"So when it came time to find a director for The Brave and the Bold, there was really only one choice. Luckily, Andy said 'yes', Barbara [Muschietti] signed on to produce with us and were on our way.
"They're an extraordinary team, and we couldn't have better or more inspiring partners as we embark on this thrilling new adventure in the DCU."
The Flash is out in cinemas.
