There's nothing like a boss who turns out to be too prideful to acknowledge when they've made a huge mistake. The worst part of those stories is that usually, the employees under that toxic, horrible boss have to suffer as a result of his ego. Well, that didn't seem to be the case this time around.
According to this thread, which was posted in Reddit's r/MaliciousCompliance subreddit, this employee was shamed for finishing the uploading process without their new boss's permission (there was apparently a reason why it had to be done that the boss didn't understand). Well, when the employee maliciously complied, the boss eventually saw the after-effects and, well, as a result of his own pride, he was fired. It gets even better. The employee who was yelled at took over his position and has excelled in the job, thereby receiving further promotions down the road as well.
