The endgame of Diablo IV might see players make tons of adjustments to their gear, including trying to find and farm a Rare material called Fiend Roses to alter different traits on their weapons, armor, or other accessories. Legendary gear found from enemies might not always have the best abilities, making these Roses great, changing useless affixes into something better. However, those looking for this resource will have to be on a higher World Tier.
Although there are ways to find Fiend Roses on lower difficulties, players looking to farm the material must be on World Tier 3 or higher. By completing a Capstone Dungeon filled with level 50 enemies, players can unlock World Tier 3 in Diablo 4, which creates a map setting with stronger foes and greater rewards. Special World Events also show up here, giving players a better chance to locate Fiend Roses that would be nearly impossible in Tiers 1 & 2.
Fiend Roses spawn as plants players can harvest in unique World Events named Helltides, which only appear in World Tier 3 or higher in Diablo 4. For a limited time, part of Sanctuary gets invaded by the forces of Hell in a large, red-tinted area on the map during a Helltide, having stronger enemies that might also drop Fiend Rose. Even though many Fiend Roses are found on plants in a Helltide, some are also given from Tortured Chests discovered in these regions.
The only way to open a Tortured Chest during a Helltide in Diablo 4 is to defeat enemies that drop Aberrant Cinders, a special currency that is used to unlock these containers.
Farming Fiend Roses in Diablo 4 is as easy as exploring a Helltide, but players that have yet to reach World Tier 3 may still find this material by opening Silent Chests using a Whispering Key. A Silent Chest has a very rare chance of dropping a Fiend Rose, so players might want to spend their Murmuring Obols on something else with the Purveyor of Curiosities vendor. If players cannot find a Helltide, these Keys are very cheap, only costing 20 Obols.
Players can Enchant their gear at an Occultist vendor by spending a Fiend Rose and a large amount of Gold to change the item's abilities. Those trying to find exactly where to farm more Fiend Roses should try to take on Elite enemy groups in a Helltide since they have a chance to drop better items in Diablo IV.
