There's a new update on the impending surgery that Deion Sanders is slated to undergo.
On Thursday's edition of the Pat McAfee Show it was revealed that Sanders is slated to undergo emergency surgery for a blood clot in his groin. Pacman Jones then specified that the surgery is now scheduled for 6 a.m. local time tomorrow.
Sanders has been dealing with blood clots in his foot that have led his doctors to mull amputation. This latest issue could be equally serious.
Fans have already taken to Twitter to offer their love and support to the Colorado head football coach:
"Wishing Prime the absolute best. This sounds brutal," one user wrote.
"It is crazy how one of the most physically gifted athlete ever now has all these medical health problems. It's sad and I pray he gets better," wrote another.
"Ive done a fair amount of Buff bashing since the hype started, but none of it really matters when real life stuff is in play Hope Deion can get and stay healthy. Sucks to see a legend have this happen over and over," a third wrote.
We wish Coach Prime all of the best in his surgery and recovery.
