Jurgen Klopp's agent has discussed whether the manager could leave Premier League giants Liverpool to replace Hansi Flick as Germany's head coach.
Ex-Bayern Munich boss Flick became the manager of Germany in 2021 and he is already under pressure. This comes after the European nation suffered a group stage exit at last year's World Cup.
Germany are the hosts of the 2024 European Championships and Flick will be expected to take them far in the tournament.
Former Liverpool man Didi Hamman reckons Germany must "act now" and get rid of Flick before Euro 2024.
"The danger that this will go wrong with [Flick] is so great that you have to act now," Hamann told Sky Germany. "It's going in the wrong direction at a huge pace. [He has] lost the trust of the players.
"If it's right in the team, then the boys do it themselves because they say: 'We'll go through fire for him.' That's not the case at the moment."
Klopp's reputation has gone through the roof during his time at Liverpool and this has not been hampered too much by their fifth-placed finish in 2022/23.
German journalist Matthias Bruegelmann thinks the national team must "fight" to prize Klopp away from Liverpool ahead of next year's major tournament.
"Already after the exit in Qatar he was sounded out - but in vain," Bruegelmann wrote for BILD.
"He felt it was his duty to lead Liverpool out of the crisis! But the DFB has to fight for him with all its might. Klopp would put Germany in Euro euphoria from now on."

Klopp is under contract until 2026 and his agent - Marc Kosicke - has refuted reports linking the 56-year-old with the Germany manager's job.
"Jurgen has a long-term contract with the LFC and the DFB has a national coach," Kosicke told BILD. "So it's not an issue for us at all."
Back in 2021, Klopp was mentioned as a potential replacement for Joachim Low and he played down the chances of this switch happening when speaking during a press conference.
"Maybe you should ask the question differently if that's the question you want to ask: if I'm available for the job of the coach for the German national team in the summer? No. After the summer, no," Klopp told reporters.
"Yes, I was asked. I didn't mention it because Joachim Low had said he would step down. I didn't say it proactively, I just said what I would say when they mention names like mine.
"I said 'no' this, or after this summer or whenever it will be, I will not be available as a potential coach of the German team."
