Millionaire, 27, shares three rules to make money like her

A 27-year-old self-made millionaire has shared on social media the three simple rules she followed to make money faster - and says others can do it too.

Amy Vanderputte revealed her financial secrets while plugging her podcast, FastForward Amy, on TikTok. The online business coach has earned millionaire status by teaching entrepreneurs all over the world to "find true freedom in their lives and business".

Listeners are able to pick up essential advice as to how they can follow in Amy's footsteps. reports The Daily Express US.

She created an in-video caption of a TikTok clip showing her debut recording session from 2020, writing: "One moment you're recording your first podcast - which everyone thinks is a stupid idea. Next, you're walking into your indoor pool of the million-dollar mansion you bought all by yourself."

In the now viral clip, she also outlined the three factors which could potentially harm someone's chances of accumulating wealth.

The content creator said: "The first thing is taking advice from people who haven't been where you want to go or who have no authority."

While beginning her list she noted people would not take medical advice from someone who is unhealthy, so they should not seek financial advice from anyone who is not business-orientated.

She then argued the second factor people need to let go of when trying to become rich is perfectionism: "What you think is being smart and making things perfect is actually a fear of failure in disguise.

"Fear of failure can actually really paralyze you and it tricks your brain into thinking it just needs to be more perfect. I just need to get it better.

"But in reality, you're not going to learn from having a really perfect plan - you're going to learn from actually doing things. So time will pass anyways; might as well start taking action and start learning."

Finally, the entrepreneur revealed the third thing stopping people from becoming rich is "waiting for the right time" instead of taking action now.

Ms Vanderputte explained: "I know that it doesn't seem like the right time right now. But it's never actually the right time.

"Times will always be busy. There will always be something happening in the economy. And if it's never the right time, that means it's always the right time."
