The Best Cards For A Darkhawk Deck In Marvel Snap

Darkhawk decks in Marvel Snap are some of the most powerful you can build. The Ongoing card pairs well with disruptive cards that give you a powerful card on your side and a flustered opponent on the other. Between cards that create synergy with Darkhawk and complementary cards, you have plenty of choices for your build.

Climbing the ladder can be difficult, but a Darkhawk deck gives you a good chance at advancing. In your catalog of decks, make sure you have one of these as an option. If you feel you are not getting wins, try a Darkhawk deck to see if you can overcome that lull.

Darkhawk gains power as long as your opponent has cards in their deck. This is one you do not want to pair with Cable or Yondu due to their drawing effects. As they draw cards, Darkhawk gets weaker. Pairing with Korg and Rock Slide are ways to get stronger and lose out on less power as turns continue.

As an Ongoing card, you want to focus on cards or locations that assist or defend Darkhawk. An Onslaught pairing or placing on Onslaught's Citadel will significantly increase the power of Darkhawk. Having Cosmo will be a way to defend Darkhawk from Enchantress or Rogue, letting your central card do its work to dominate the location.

Disruption is the strategy when you focus on Darkhawk with your deck's build. Korg not only disrupts the other player's plans but increases the power of Darkhawk. By filling their deck with rocks, the chance of drawing a rock will waste their draw, and if they play it, it wastes space. Pair Korg with Wong, Mystique, or Kamar-Taj to get the most out of the rocky ability.

Korg goes well with other disruption cards. If your strategy is mostly on this, you should go beyond Wong and Mystique combos. Rock Slide, Iceman, and Black Widow work well to make your opponent's match hell. Having the most power in two or more locations is the key to winning, but sometimes, frustration is stronger than Hulk.

Delaying enemy plans can be a great strategy for any deck. Iceman making cards cost more can be disruptive, even if you are unsure of the results as he blindly fires at the enemy's hand. Whether it is making a powerful card more expensive or a rock turning into a 2-cost card, you are gaining something out of the X-Men card.

Iceman helps Darkhawk by possibly giving you more time before cards get played. It lets you possibly achieve your goals with less pushback. Add Iceman to Wong or Kamar-Taj; you will get more out of the ability's effectiveness.

When you rely on a few vital cards, then you will want Armor to protect them if they are open to being destroyed. While Armor is useless against Galactus, Shang-Chi and other threats will do nothing to a powerful Darkhawk. Add in Cosmo, then no Rogue or Enchantress can disable either Armor or Darkhawk.

Armor can do more than protect your cards. If your opponent decides to play those rocks that you planted to be destroyed, you can block that from happening. Waste their plays by having those indestructible rocks take up space on a location.

Many cards that pair well with Darkhawk, including the card itself, are 4-cost. Zabu makes these cards cheaper, ensuring more to be played on a single turn. On that final turn, you can get out Wong and Rock Slide to give a last-minute buff to Darkhawk.

Zabu can create all kinds of combinations. If you place Zabu on Onslaught's Citadel or play Sera, then this increases the chances of getting off a Darkhawk pairing with Rock Slide, Wong, or Mystique. The biggest challenge for Darkhawk is to get the cards you need onto the field. Cards like Sera and Zabu make it easier to play what you need.

To make Darkhawk better, then duplicate that ability on the field. Mystique can spread this power when placed in another location to dominate or double the same location as Darkhawk. By the time you get Korg and Rock Slide, you will boost two cards rather than one.

Mystique can make for other strategies that benefit Darkhawk. Pair her with Wong to make it rain rocks on your opponent's deck. If you can get on Onslaught's Citadel or Kamar-Taj, you will make their deck almost useless while making Darkhawk Thanos-level powerful.

Moon Girl makes for a great alternative to repeat cards you previously played. When played at the right time, Moon Girl can duplicate Darkhawk, Wong, Rock Slide, Korg, and more. By having that second chance, you can get out a second Darkhawk or get another round of rocks in your foe's deck.

If you have other powerful cards, then you can duplicate chances to give your cards other kinds of backup. Moon Girl is the ultimate card to play if you have Devil Dinosaur, ensuring your hand is filled to keep the dino's power.

If you rely on any On Reveal card, then Wong is almost a must-have in any case. By the end of a match, Darkhawk might be getting weak. To give that needed boost to make the card viable to the end, Rock Slide and Korg can get their use when playing on Wong.

Wong can add effectiveness with Mystique. No matter your On Reveal cards, from Rock Slide to Iceman, you can make these three-minute games feel significantly longer as you and the other player wait out the avalanche of abilities. If you place on Kamar-Taj or Onslaught's Citadel, the game will fast forward because what you did will take too long. Whatever the time sink might look like, that efficiency of ability use will be worth it.

While any deck gives you wiggle room to customize it yourself, Rock Slide is almost necessary for a Darkhawk deck. Korg works well, especially early on, but only one rock gives minimal power and disruption. Doubling it is the more efficient route to go down.

Rock Slide naturally works well with Wong or a Mystique paired with Wong. Odin can deliver some needed power on the final turn and send more rocks to power up Darkhawk. By having Rock Slide, you will have plenty of cards to create that synergy to maximize the card's ability.

Sera can make your final turn devastating, as you have a greater chance to unleash more cards than you would normally be able to. Sera on the field lets you play Darkhawk and Rock Slide on that final turn. If you already have Darkhawk, then Wong and Rock Slide can give the needed boost on the final turn.

If you have other lower-costing cards, Sera can lower their cost to unleash a flurry of 1-cost cards. While she cannot make them cost zero, you can get out those lower-end cards to push you over the edge in the finale.
