Krispy Kreme has announced it's bringing a star-spangled lineup to its menu, just in time for Fourth of July!
In honor of Independence Day, the brand has launched a new Stars and Stripes dozen of doughnuts, complete with-you guessed it-sprinkles and icing decorated as stars and stripes galore.
The new dozen features four each of three newly-introduced doughnuts, including the Red Velvet Sparkler, comprised of red velvet cake topped with cream cheese icing, Freedom Flag, an original glazed variety dipped in red icing with American flag decor, and All-American Apple Pie, made of an unglazed shell filled with apple cinnamon filling and dipped in caramel icing, finished off with graham cracker crumbs.
Packaged up in a custom, Independence Day-themed box, or available for individual purchase, getting your hands on the special drop is easy... as pie.
In addition to the festive collection, the brand also will give away doughnuts on Tuesday, July 4, 2023-because what's better than indulging in sweet treats on a mid-week national holiday?
Customers wearing the color combination of red, white, and blue can get a free glazed doughnut at any nearby participating shop.
Krispy Kreme not close in proximity? No need to fret! Six-packs of the Stars and Stripes doughnut collection will also be available at some grocery stores, including Walmart.
So plan to grab a dozen (or two-we won't tell) so you can celebrate in the most American way possible this Fourth of July.
