This shopping phenomenon began in 2015 and has become a day that online shoppers look forward to all year, as it serves as a chance to snag limited-time deals without having to leave the couch! The sale lasts for two days and features thousands of deals that both rival and beat that of Black Friday. The deals are on everything from technology and luggage to clothing and household essentials, with everything in between. No department is left untouched by the deals, leaving something for everyone.
While the overall event is 48 hours long, not all of the offers will last that long. That said, savings start early with Early Prime Deals, so make sure you're checking those out well before Prime Day dates are announced. And, of course, it is recommended that when you see something you like, act quickly, as some deals will only be available for 24 hours.

In order to participate in Amazon's Prime Day, you must have an active Prime membership and be signed into your account. From there, shoppers can head to the "deals" page on Amazon to browse all of the available Prime Day deals.
If you do not have a Prime account, it is not too late to sign up for an Amazon Prime membership and be able to participate in the sale.
There is a free 30-day trial available for new members that will allow you to participate in the sale and test out the other perks of Prime membership, such as free two-day shipping. If you are a college student, Prime is $7.49 a month to subscribe. Those who do not qualify for the free trial or the student discount pay $14.99 a month or $130 a year.
The exact dates for Prime Day 2023 have just been announced, so shoppers can officially make a note on their calendars. This year, Amazon Prime Day will run for two days on July 11th and 12th, 2023. Prime Day usually falls somewhere around this time, as it marks Amazon's birthday, which is on July 12th.
