Gomez remain one of the defining bands of the late 90s and early 2000s.
Their genre-agnostic style of music was always packed with plenty of wonderful and varied sounds and styles, but at the core of their work was an incredible talent for songwriting.
So, news of the band's two leading voices Ben Ottewell and Ian Ball returning to Australia is very exciting indeed.
The two British indie icons were in the country just last year for a run of shows, and they went so damn well that they've decided to come back for an even more extensive run of shows.
Expect to hear plenty of the best Gomez material, as well as a selection of work from both artists' esteemed solo catalogues.
They'll travel extensively, getting to regional areas like Pambula, Eumundi and Meeniyan, as well as capitals like Perth, Hobart, Adelaide and of course those big east coast cities.
One of the shows is as part of the Wanderer Festival on the NSW South Coast, where the band will perform alongside the likes of Ocean Alley, Thelma Plum, Spiderbait and more.
