Buying a doer-upper house is an attractive option for those looking to get on the property ladder, or people wanting to flip houses for a profit. Although these types of homes require more work than a new build, they can often be bought at a much cheaper price with the potential of adding good value once renovated.

The ultimate fixer-upper house has just come on the market in Greater Manchester, and as well as its cheap price, it is also located in a 'sought-after' area. The two-bed property is found in Radcliffe, a popular market town in Bury, and has a bargain £25,000 price tag.

Due to its run-down state, the terraced home is priced much cheaper than the average property in Radcliffe, which has an average house price of £226,450 - which has gone up by 8 percent in the last year alone.

If you can look past the damp patches, peeling walls and ceilings, then this house has heaps of potential for any buyer looking to take on a big transformation project.

Fresh on the market after being put up for sale on Zoopla this week, the home is in need of a full renovation but it is expected to attract a good amount of interest due to its sought-after location.

Inside, the house is made up of a good sized kitchen and living room on the ground floor, with two bedrooms and a family bathroom found upstairs. It also has a garden to the rear.

The property is set to go on sale via an online auction on Tuesday, July 11, and any interested buyers are being encouraged to register to bid.

Auction House says: "A good sized two-bedroom house in need of improvement throughout situated in this highly sought-after location.

"The property would demand rentals in the region of £1,000 pcm or £12,000 per annum once renovated.

"Located in an established residential area and adjacent to Bolton Road Park, with good access to Manchester city centre. The rear garden is accessed via a service road, neighbouring properties have built garages and workshops on their gardens."

Explaining the guide price, Auction House continued: "Guides are provided as an indication of each seller's minimum expectation. They are not necessarily figures which a property will sell for and may change at any time prior to the auction.

"Each property will be offered subject to a reserve (a figure below which the auctioneer cannot sell the property during the auction) which we expect will be set within the guide range or no more than 10% above a single figure guide."

There is an open house viewing for this property on Saturday, July 1 at 10am until 10:30am.
