Challengers is a romantic comedy about tennis. The story follows Tashi (played by Zendaya), a tennis player turned coach, who has turned her husband, Art, into a famous grand slam champion. When Art goes through a losing streak, Tashi encourages him to play a 'Challenger' event, where he finds himself playing against his former best friend and Tashi's old boyfriend, Patrick.
With an intriguing love triangle and a sports subplot, the film might be the perfect date night film.
While Zendaya might be the biggest star to join the film's cast, she isn't the only one. The artist is joined by British actor Josh O'Connor, who has starred in God's Own Country, Emma, The Crown and Mothering Sunday, as well as Mike Faist, who recently starred in 2021's West Side Story.
