Zion Williamson has found himself caught up in all the wrong headlines over the past few weeks and now the organization that employs him has issues with it.

Over the weekend, ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported that there is "no relationship" between Williamson and the Pelicans organization and he barely has one with his teammates.

SNYTV's Ian Begley dropped another shocking turn of events as the organization is tired of his behavior off-the-court.

"High-ranking members of the organization have been dismayed by recent off-court developments around Williamson, as other outlets have noted," Begley wrote. "The organization recently fired assistant coach Teresa Weatherspoon, a Naismith Hall of Famer, who was instrumental in the development of several young Pelicans, including Williamson. Those reading the tea leaves may surmise that Weatherspoon's firing was related to the team's issues with Williamson."

While the former Duke star attempts to settle his off-court drama this summer, it seems his team is potentially looking into moving away from him this offseason.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, there's been a "surprising" level of trade discussions centered around Zion coming out of New Orleans.

"It's surprising to me how out there it is in the league that the Pelicans are discussing Zion business," Windhorst said. "I wouldn't rule out anything I guess, but the events of the last six months with Zion are what they are.

"There is no relationship between Zion and the organization. And minimal relationship between Zion and his teammates, from what I understand."

When he is actually healthy and playing, Williamson has dominated NBA competition to the tune of averaging 25.8 points, 7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.

Since being drafted in 2019, Williamson has appeared in just 114 total games. He has not played more than 30 games in a season.

He just might need a fresh start.
