Destiny 2 Season of the Deep has been around for a while now, and players are pretty familiar with all the new activities and mechanics. However, when it comes to weekly challenges, Bungie is usually tight-lipped about giving comprehensive information to players, which is the exact case with Last Rite.

One of the Week 5 challenges in Season of the Deep tasks players to acquire the Last Rite weapon, but there is no clear explanation of how you can get this Scout Rifle or where you should look for it. So, let's see what you need to do.
Last Rite is a Masterworked Scout Rifle that you can collect as a reward from any of the vendors for Ritual Playlist. The weapon is one of the specific Rank Rewards, which requires you to reach Level 16 in Commander Zavala's Vanguard Ops, Lord Shaxx's Crucible, or Drifter's Gambit.
Completing Bounties acquired from any of the aforementioned vendors will help you reach Level 16 faster.
Keep in mind that Rank Rewards change for each vendor whenever a new season arrives. So, if you do like Last Rite, you need to collect it through one of the vendor progressions before Season of the Deep expires.
Of course, the weapon will still be a part of random drops in the game, but you won't have any chance of getting a Masterworked variant unless you Masterwork it yourself. Also, the variant that Ritual Playlist's vendors offer features all the perks that you can get for Last Rite, which means you can easily own the weapon's God Roll for both PvP and PvE.
Needless to say that acquiring this weapon is a must for players who are looking to complete all seasonal challenges in Season of the Deep.
Although Rank 16 is almost the final rank in every vendor's progression system, you will also acquire plenty of ther worthwhile rewards such as Enhancement Prisms, Enhancement Cores, and Powerful Gears on your way to acquire Last Rite.
