With Real Madrid and Bayern Munich looking elsewhere, and Man Utd too terrified to make a move, Harry Kane could be offered the chance to win trophies elsewhere in Europe.
KANE TO LINK UP WITH LUIS ENRIQUE, BERNARDO SILVA AT PSG?
One, maybe two doors have closed for Harry Kane, but another appears to have opened.
Real Madrid on Monday confirmed the signing of Joselu on loan for next season with the option to buy, presumably as a stop-gap until they can sign Kylian Mbappe as a free agent next summer. All of which ends their interest in Kane.
Bayern Munich appear to have moved on too, with Bild suggesting they are looking again at Werder Bremen striker Niclas Fullkrug. Manchester United would like to sign Kane but they appear terrified of actually making an offer.
PSG aren't so timid and Le Parisien says the Ligue 1 champions have made Tottenham's record goalscorer their top priority this summer. At least Kane would be guaranteed a trophy in Paris, and he could play alongside Bernardo Silva, who Fabrizio Romano says remains a target, with the Man City star set to reject any offer from Saudi Arabia.

SAUDIS TO SWOOP ON SPURS FOR SON
Will Son Heung-min be as bold as to snub PIF's riches?
ESPN says the Spurs attacker is next on the Saudi hit-list - mercifully, not the hit-list - as they look to follow up the recruitment of Ruben Neves from Wolves and a bunch of Chelsea players in a deal that appears very. convenient.
Apparently, Al-Ittihad are preparing a £51million offer for Son and there is optimism that the South Korea star might be tempted to link up with Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante.

ARSENAL TO INCREASE RICE, TIMBER OFFERS
Two out at Spurs; possibly two in at Arsenal.
The Daily Mail says Declan Rice is ready to agree terms with the Gunners and move to the Emirates this month. Assuming Arsenal up their offer and cough up a fee that West Ham would deem acceptable and allow them to move for their targets, which include Fulham's Joao Palhinha and Southampton skipper James Ward-Prowse. Apparently, the Gunners have already indicated that their second offer will be worth at least £100million.
Amid his pursuit of Rice, Mikel Arteta is also chasing down Ajax defender Jurrien Timber. The Netherlands international was a target for Manchester United last summer, but Erik ten Hag can only watch while Arsenal act decisively and the Red Devils fanny about with the sale of the club.
Timber is said by The Athletic to have agreed personal terms with Arsenal but Ajax have rejected their opening bid of £30million. The defender has two years remaining on his contract and though Ajax are demanding £50million, there is confidence a compromise can be reached.
