Warzone 2.0 Dropping Into new Vondel Season 4 Map with Paracute

The non-combat zone of Warzone 2's DMZ mode has gotten a new enemy in a recent update called the Bullfrog, which players can find and beat for many rewards. Almost acting like a mini-boss on the map, players will have difficulty tracking down this fast-moving, heavily armed, and protected van. However, the Bullfrog can travel on a predictable route, allowing players to make a good plan to destroy the vehicle.

The Bullfrog is a nickname for an armored vehicle called the TAV, or Tactical Amphibious Vehicle, which can travel along both land and water, as its name might suggest. Added as part of the Season 4 update for Warzone 2, the TAV has incredible speed that does not slow down when running over water. The new Vondel map this Season has tons of canals and waterways for players to traverse, making the TAV a powerful vehicle in that location.

The Bullfrog is found when players try to capture the Vondel Weapon Case as part of a mission related to the map. The Weapon Case icon appears on the player's map, but not before a prompt that says "Bullfrog Entered Vondel," indicating the TAV has taken the Case. The icon should now be moving on the player's map, showing where the TAV travels with the Case, a visual indicator that typically occurs when 17 minutes and 30 seconds are left in a DMZ match.

The hardest part about beating the Bullfrog comes from how the vehicle does not seek out players to fight, instead patrolling a set path at top speeds. This makes the TAV hard to pin down since players can only do a bit of damage to the vehicle with their guns on foot as it rushes by along its route. Players are recommended to use guns with a high rate of fire, such as the best SMGs in Warzone 2, to unload the most bullets possible into the van if it passes by.

Another way players can deal with the fast-moving TAV is to place claymores or mines along the vehicle's path, anticipating its route. This way, players don't have to waste valuable ammo on shooting up the Bullfrog every time it passes by. Since other players in the DMZ might want to get the Weapon Case from the Bullfrog, damaging the TAV only a little bit with gunfire could only serve to set it up for someone else to claim.

The Bullfrog does not simply wait for players to shoot it; it comes armed with trip mines that it releases when players damage the vehicle. The mines make the vehicle even harder to approach, especially from what other car players might use. The best way to destroy the Bullfrog is to jump on the back of the vehicle, where no mines can hit players as they open fire on the roof of the TAV until it blows up.

A special Upgrade in the DMZ called the DDOS Field can temporarily shut down the Bullfrog's movement, giving players an opportunity to jump onto the back of the TAV to take it down.

The Vondel Weapon Case drops from the Bullfrog when players destroy the TAV in Warzone 2, which can be extracted from the DMZ for special rewards or Faction Mission progress. Players can get even better rewards from extracting the Vondel Weapon Case again in their next DMZ matches. Some of the earnings include:

Extraction Goal

Weapon Case Reward

Extract the Vondel Weapon Case once

Neptune's Wake (Vehicle Skin)

Extract the Vondel Weapon Case 2 times

First Mission (Calling Card)

Extract the Vondel Weapon Case 3 times

Shark Attack (Calling Card)

Extract the Vondel Weapon Case 4 times

Speeder (Emblem)

Extract the Vondel Weapon Case 5 times

Steady Approach (Loading Screen)

Extract the Vondel Weapon Case 6 times

Between the Eyes (SP-X 80 Weapon Blueprint)

Players should take care trying to extract the Vondel Weapons Case after they find and beat the Bullfrog in Warzone 2's DMZ since many players will be looking to take the item for themselves for these exclusive rewards.
