A woman has left millions in stitches after conducting a 'social experiment' to see if she can predict what shirt her boyfriend will wear each day.

Millie simply leaves a gap between two shirts hanging up in her boyfriend Angus's wardrobe to see if he'll chose to wear one of the tops for the day.

The young Brit is on the eighth instalment of her experiment and so far Angus has chosen a shirt on either side of the crack every time.

Millie is sharing her 'research' online and winning millions of fans who are eager to see if Angus will ever break the pattern.

'What I've done in his wardrobe, I've purposely left a gap which means I'm predicting he today will either wear Reclaim Vintage or just this beige t-shirt,' Millie said in a TikTok clip of the first day of her experiment.

'When he opens, there will be a slight gap and being the simpleton that he is, he will just go for it because he can see it.'

Not long after, Angus came into the living room dressed for the day with the Reclaim Vintage t-shirt on, much to Millie's delight.

Every day, Millie has been making gaps in Angus's wardrobe and every day he has been choosing a shirt in the space.

She said she 'feels devious' and having deleted all his social media apps last year, Angus is oblivious to her experiment or how much it's 'blown up' online.

Millie almost had her cover blown when Angus's coworker sent him a screenshot from Twitter of one of Millie's videos.

Millie said she 'played the 'Weird' card' and acted like she didn't know what it was about.

'We haven't spoken about it since so I think we're in the clear, I know all good things have to come to an end but just not yet,' she said adding she's preparing for the fifth episode.

On day six, Millie shook things up a bit and left two spaces in Agnus's shirts then on day seven she celebrated a whole week of successfully predicting which top her boyfriend would don.

She even did a special 'festival edition' where she used the space to persuade Angus to wear one of his 'funky shirts'.

Millie's series of videos has racked up more than 9.5million watches collectively and have had viewers 'on the edge of their seats' as they see how long the 'wholesome' prank will go on for.

'This is the funniest series and he seems like a lovely guy. Just perfect internet content, thank you,' one user said.

'Please do this forever, it's fascinating,' laughed another while a third said: 'I've never been so invested in something that has no effect on my life.'

Others were impressed by Angus's shirt collection while some came up with creative names for Millie's experiment.

'Can we please call this series 'mind the gap'?' one woman joked.

'Okay four out of six days he picked the most right one. Is he right handed??' a second pointed out.

'Plot twist: He knows and is doing his own experiment on you,' a third added.
