Amanda Bynes was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold for the second time this year just days after being detained by police.
Over the weekend, the Los Angeles Police Department took the Nickelodeon star, 37, into custody for a mental health evaluation - which she seemingly failed, according to TMZ.
On Monday, sources told the outlet that the former child star was deemed a danger to herself and those around her.
Now that Bynes is on a mandatory psychiatric hold, she can be held for up to 72 hours, by law.
Reps for the former actress did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment.
Bynes reportedly called the cops on herself in the first place.
When police arrived to her residence Saturday morning, eyewitnesses told TMZ that she was "calm during the interaction with cops" and "looked defeated as they dealt with her."
Bynes mental health has been under scrutiny over the past couple months ever since she was placed on a psychiatric hold in March.
At the time, the actress - who was previously diagnosed with bipolar disorder - was found roaming the streets of LA naked.
She allegedly flagged down a car without any clothes on and told the driver that she was coming down from a psychiatric episode before calling the cops on herself.
After being placed on a 5150 hold, the actress remained hospitalized for nearly three weeks before being released.
The "Amanda Show" star reportedly started outpatient treatment in April and - despite feeling "sad and lonely" - sources told TMZ she was good about attending her outpatient treatments, seeing therapists and taking her medication.
While it's unclear what may have lead to her latest episode, the starlet's ex-fiancé, Paul Michael, previously told Page Six that she gets "wild" when she is "off her meds."
Bynes, who also struggles with substance abuse, was freed from an eight-year conservatorship in March 2022.
