Genshin Impact's Fontaine character leaks and designs are starting to spread across different social media sources. Fontaine is the next region to be added to developer HoYoverse's RPG. It is said to be the Nation of Justice and its reigning element is Hydro. According to the game itself, Fontaine's Archon is called Focalors, and she apparently watches every trial that takes place in the Genshin Impact region.
In terms of theme, from what players have seen and heard in character interactions with NPCs who hail from the nation, Fontaine is somewhat inspired by a real-life France, more specifically a hybrid between its Industrial Revolution and Belle Époque periods. The Genshin Impact Fontaine character leaks seem to reflect that. The first characters from the area who were officially announced were Genshin Impact's Lynette and Lyney, and since then, there has been little from HoYoverse about the upcoming region.
According to Genshin Mains on Twitter (a now-suspended account), new Genshin Impact Fontaine character leaks were shared before being taken down in a copyright strike. As previously shown in the post, the character's main color palette is blue, and their body type is young female. They have light blue hair, blue eyes, and wear a small blue top hat. They carry their Hydro Vision on the right side of their waist, and they wear shorts and a fancy pair of shoes. The unknown character's design seems to match the description of the previous Genshin Impact Archon in Fontaine rather than the current one, so this may not actually be Focalors herself.
Another leak posted by Genshin Mains showed a blonde character with a tall female body type, allegedly named Navia. The character wears long stocking shoes and what seems to be a yellow dress and a corset. The Fontaine Archon's character design in Genshin Impact allegedly matches a part of what was leaked here. The leaked character also wears long black sleeves and a choker necklace of sorts.
With blue eyes and blonde hair, Navia wears a large hatinator in Genshin Impact. On that piece, there seems to be a blue Vision attached to it, but it is uncertain if it is one. If it is, in fact, a Vision, either that is not Focalors herself or she already gave up her Gnosis to the Fatui, willingly or not. A recent leak shared by Kuroo on Twitter (the tweet in question is now deleted) offered a 360-view of the model design based on concept art.
While players do not know exactly when Fontaine's release date is in Genshin Impact, there has been an impressive amount of Genshin Impact Fontaine character leaks. In fact, another one was also posted by Genshin Mains on Twitter. While the quality of the image was not as good as the recreated sketches from the previous ones, this is yet another young female body type character with a dark blue color palette. Their design seems to be simpler than the first, but the design also matches the description of the late Archon before Focalors.
Genshin Mains posted a compiled set of alleged character concepts. The images contained two of the leaks that have already been mentioned but also a few other designs that could be integrated into the game. These Genshin Impact Fontaine character leaks were a lower image quality, some to the point of being incomprehensible. Two of the characters in the images seemed to be Lyney and Lynette, the Fontaine characters who had been announced by HoYoverse previously.
A few of these character designs were also posted by Save Your Primos on Twitter. However, according to a new post, the profile received a DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) warning, causing the previous leak posts to be deleted. If that is true, that means HoYoverse solicited that the images be taken down.
There are two extra leaked Fontaine characters in Genshin Impact that seem very credible. The first of them is Genshin Impact's Freminet character. This hero from the Fontaine region has a medium male body type and wears a gray suit over a black corset and a blue tie on their white shirt. They also wear a gray beret on top of their blonde hair. Freminet is allegedly a 4-star Cryo claymore user, though that is subject to change. He is expected to arrive with Version 4.0 itself, which will introduce Fontaine, making Freminet one of the first official Fontaine characters to become playable.
The other leaked Fontaine character is Neuvilette in Genshin Impact. This character has a tall male body type and wears formal Fontaine-style clothing. Some parts of his clothes seem to resemble parts of an Oceanid's body, leading to the understanding that there may be some connection between Neuvilette and the Lochfolk. This leaked Fontaine character in Genshin Impact is also said to have a very important role in the main Archon storyline in the region, though the specifics have not yet been leaked. Neuvilette is said to have a Hydro Vision, though his weapon of choice is still unknown.
A new and massive Genshin Impact leak featuring Fontaine characters has started to make its rounds on social media, and it shares multiple heroes that players may get to know in the region. As the popular leaker HutaoLover77 shared on Twitter, a Team China leak sustained by Bbbb features a character with heterochromia - a condition that makes each eye have a different color, like Candace does. The character's body type is seemingly unknown, but they are referred to as "heterochromia boy," suggesting it may be a medium male. According to the leak, they are codenamed internally by HoYoverse as "Elizabeth."
The leaked Fontaine character in Genshin Impact "Elizabeth" has pink short hair, and one of their eyes are gray, while the other is lilac. They have white skin and wear a black hat with gray and red elements. Their clothes seem to follow Fontaine's style with white, red, black, and gray being the main colors. The rest of their uniform can be seen in a leak shared by Kuroo on Twitter. The image suggests "Elizabeth" wears white shorts, has most of their legs exposed, and wears socks with formal shoes.
Another Fontaine character in Genshin Impact who showed up as part of the massive has their official name unknown. As shared on Twitter by HutaoLover77, she has a medium female body type and white skin. This character, whose internal codename is "Demon" or "M," wears a red and black uniform that seems to resemble a modified version of formal Fontaine clothing. Her black and red boots run up to her knees, and she wears red gloves. Her hair is silver with black highlights, and she has two long braids. She also wears a black beret.
A character that had been previously leaked and has come up again amid the Fontaine character leaks for Genshin Impact is Wriothesley. This character has been talked about for months now, and his new leaked concept arts seem to indicate that HoYoverse may finally be reaching a final version for him. Wriothesley has a tall male body type with white skin and dark brown or black hair, as was shared in a tweet by HutaoLover77. This character stands out due to his extravagant clothing, mainly composed of his large trench jacket.
While most of his clothes have a navy tone mixed with gray and lighter colors and occasional red details, Wriothesley's jacket has scarlet-red elements that resemble curved thorns. In a sense, they occupy the space on his back and near his neck where animal fur would be put. These thorns' tips are black, and their presence makes the leaked Fontaine character in Genshin Impact look larger than he actually is.
HutaoLover77 shared another Genshin Impact Fontaine character leak on Twitter, which may be one of the most enticing ones so far: Arlecchino. One of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, she has been showcased openly by HoYoverse before, but she may finally appear in-game. The leak points out that Arlecchino is a Pyro sword user. It is uncertain if Arlecchino may become playable, and unlikely as villains have not yet become playable in Genshin - the exception is Wanderer, but even he had a redemption story. Nevertheless, with her leaked character design, she is expected to at least play the role of a villain in the story, much like Dottore in Sumeru.
A character only known as Waghild is also a part of the Fontaine character leaks in Genshin Impact. This character's design, which was shared by Kuroo on Twitter, is composed of a blue and white uniform. She also wears an enormous pink bow as a tie, which takes over a large portion of her torso. She has light blue hair and wears a hat that resembles those of waiters in the 1960s. Waghild also has what seems to be horns coming out of her head. She wears tall white socks and small black shoes.
A character named Captain R has been discussed for some time now, and the new Fontaine leaks for Genshin Impact seem to indicate that HoYoverse is getting closer to her final design. As was shared by Kuroo, the character seems to have two forms: one in which she uses swords to fight, and another in which she uses something akin to a floating, shooting device. Captain R has dark green hair and wears a dark green cape. Underneath that, she wears a black corset over a white shirt. Her design seems to be inspired by corsairs, and she even wears a large musketeer's hat.
There is yet another leaked Genshin Impact Fontaine character who is known as Sertice. She has a medium female body type and white skin. Sertice has long purple hair and wears a red uniform. Her clothing resembles that of a guard or a band leader - mainly due to her tall red and black cap. Another noticeable detail in her design, which was shared by SteambirdLeaks on Twitter, is that she has an eye patch over her left eye. Sertice wears long white boots.
According to information shared by SteambirdLeaks on Twitter, there is a leaked Fontaine character in Genshin Impact whose design has not yet been settled on. The image posted by the profile features nearly 20 different designs, all of which belong to the same character. There are designs that range from a child body type all the way to a tall female. This information was later backed up by Save Your Primos on Twitter.
According to HutaoLover77, this character is a witch. This may mean that this unnamed character whose design is yet to be narrowed down may actually be a part of the Hexenzirkel in Genshin Impact. For reference, this is a group of witches in Teyvat, of which Alice is a part. Although this character has yet to be further fleshed out, it may mean that the Hexenzirkel will be further explored during the third year of the game.
The major Fontaine character leaks in Genshin Impact also seem to include a few upcoming heroes that are not from Fontaine itself. As shared by HutaoLover77, a new character named Chiori has been leaked. This character, who has a medium female body type, has orange and black clothing that seems to be from the Inazuma region. Her kimono-like outfit is adorned with red flowers, and even her haircut is designed with an embedded flower on it.
The other character leak in Genshin Impact is referent to a highly discussed character known so far as the "mummy girl." This character's design, which was shared by Kuroo, highlights a hero with a medium female body type. What grants her the aforementioned nickname is the fact that she is covered in bandage-like elements, which make her resemble a mummy. She has skin that resembles that of Cyno's, and wears white clothing with blue and golden elements. She has short black hair with white details and is allegedly from the Sumeru region - though unconfirmed, her aesthetic would certainly match the Egyptian-themed aspects of the area.
There is yet another leaked character in Genshin Impact who may not be from Fontaine. Known temporarily as the "lion dance boy," his character design was shared by HutaoLover77. This hero's clothing takes on many elements from the traditional Chinese lion dance, which may indicate he is from the Liyue region. He has blue and gray clothing, though his design is still in development and subject to change.
Players will have to wait for Version 4.0 to know if any of the leaks are true, but character leaks have been reliable for a while now. The alleged DMCA that Save Your Primos received may also be an indicator of the leak's authenticity. Nevertheless, the Genshin Impact Fontaine character leaks should be taken with a grain of salt until HoYoverse officially announces any upcoming Fontaine content.
