Man suffers gunshot wounds in Brisbane suburb of Bray Park, tranported to hospital

A man has been taken to hospital after sustaining gunshot wounds in the northern Brisbane suburb of Bray Park.

Authorities attended a property in Burkell Court about 12:30pm after responding to a domestic incident between a man and a woman.

The man was allegedly shot by police.

He has since been transported to hospital.

Queensland police said the shooting has been referred to the Ethical Standards Command, which "will begin investigations into the matter" with oversight from the Crime and Corruption Commission.
