Is Tiger Woods' son, Charlie, plotting something?
The 14-year-old golf prodigy was spotted at this week's U.S. Open taking in the scenery at Los Angeles Country Club. Which had the USGA thinking: "Early scouting for [2039]?"
Others chimed in on social media as well.
"Charlie Woods checking out the guys he's gonna dust in a few years," tweeted Jeff Eisenband.
"It's trippy that he looks like an actual Tiger," a user commented.
"Anyone recognize him?" Golfweek asked.
"It's not that far away," a fan replied.
"Try 2029," another person said.
"2027 Thursday pairing has to be Charlie with Tiger Woods," another fan posted. "Record TV ratings."
Charlie recently teed off at Riviera on Wednesday before heading to LACC where he hit what looked to be a beautiful shot.
The jury's still out on whether or not Tiger will be able to return from his surgery this year. But if he and Charlie are able to team up at the PNC Father-Son Championship in December, what a pairing that would be.
