The open-world adventure game Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom takes players through Hyrule yet again. With a new foe to face, Link must uncover the mysteries of the dark magic that has taken over at the hands of the Demon King. Citizens all over the land often ask Link for help with various tasks as he explores, triggering side quests and adventures.

The Fell Into a Well side quest is relatively short but can be hard to find if unaware. Additionally, Fell Into a Well takes place in a new discovery area in Tears of the Kingdom that players may need help navigating. So, here's a complete guide on how to find Fell Into a Well and get its rewards.

Fell Into a Well takes place in the Central Hyrule area near the Rebonae Bridge, so players can go there early on. As they approach the bridge, players will be able to see a smoke signal from a distance coming from inside the Rebonae Well (0738, 0011, 0031), where the side quest is discovered. The well isn't that deep, so Link can jump inside without worrying about fall damage. At the bottom of the well is a man named Dillie standing near a fire.

Dillie tells Link he's been trapped inside the well for a long time because the ladder leading into it broke when he tried to leave. So, Link must figure out how to repair the ladder to complete Fell Into a Well. The bottom half of the ladder is sitting on the ground near Dillie and can be picked up using the Ultrahand Ability. All of Link's abilities are accessed by holding down L.

Make sure to pick the ladder up at one of its ends so it can be reattached correctly. Use Ultrahand to guide the ladder back onto the other piece and attach the two halves. Once the ladder is fixed, Dillie can leave the well. There's a small cut scene where Dillie and Link appear at the well's entrance, and then he gives players 50 Rupees for their help.

The Rebonae Well is mainly empty besides the side quest, Sticky Lizards, and Glowing Cave Fish. Across the Rebonae bridge is a cave with more valuables, but multiple cave monsters are waiting inside. Other wells around Hyrule have expansive caves with treasures and resources, so players should explore them when they come across one.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available to play now on the Nintendo Switch.
