One man is getting ready to get married in a month, and he's been reflecting on his cousin's nightmarish wedding.
You might not even be able to call it an official wedding because things went so south that his cousin didn't even get married as planned.
Ten years ago, his cousin was engaged to his college girlfriend. Before they were engaged, his cousin went on a month-long trip and came home to find out that his girlfriend was pregnant. Therefore, she started putting pressure on him to get married, and he eventually did.
His cousin's fiancée was determined to get married only a month after their engagement because she didn't want her baby bump to show.
This meant their wedding had to be planned in only five weeks. If that wasn't difficult enough, things got even worse for this young couple.
His cousin's fiancée became a very demanding bride-to-be. Things began falling apart with her bridal party when she expected them to pay for a venue to host a bridal shower, attend a destination bachelorette party, and buy her gifts for each event.
They had to settle on having a fun casino night two weeks before the wedding date, but his cousin's fiancée had a tantrum.

As if she didn't have enough bad blood with her bridesmaids after that, she actually kicked one of them out after they got a pixie cut before the wedding.
He was asked to be his cousin's best man in the wedding. When he was put in touch with the maid of honor, she handed him a list of "groomsmen rules" that the bride expected them to follow. One of them read they were not allowed to have a bachelor party.
After finding out the bride was having a bachelorette party, he decided to arrange one for his cousin anyway. When his cousin's fiancée found out, he remembers her almost punching him in the face.
Things only got worse as his cousin and his fiancée tried to finalize the details of their wedding. When his cousin's fiancée found out her dream venue was booked, she sent threatening emails to the couple who had her desired time slot and was eventually banned from the venue entirely.
Then they had no other option but to have the wedding in her sister's backyard.
His cousin's fiancée was also banned from the bridal gown shop she wanted to get her dress from for screaming at one of the consultants.
"She was 'forced' to get a dress at a retail bridal store and cried through her appointment," he remembered.
"She also forced all of her bridesmaids to get their dresses at that same store."
Things came to a head with this cursed wedding when his cousin's fiancée started uninviting his family members, including his aunt and mother. To make matters worse, it was all because she argued with them over what they could wear to the wedding.
"All of that happened in four weeks," he said.
"Six days before the wedding, I was told the wedding was off."
His cousin and his fiancée not only called off their wedding but ended their relationship entirely. The bride-to-be confessed that she had lied about her baby being his cousin's. As it turned out, she had cheated on him while he was on his month-long trip.
Thankfully, his cousin is now married to a great woman and has a two-year-old daughter of his own. Although he had a pretty traumatic past with his ex, he's finally happy.
