Man Utd have potential deals for Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala and Benfica's Goncalo Ramos in their sights, according to reports.
The Red Devils are looking to improve their squad again this summer after providing Erik ten Hag with the funds to bring in Antony, Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen and Tyrell Malacia a year ago.
It is still unclear exactly how much Man Utd will have to spend this summer with the Red Devils in the middle of a takeover process with Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe vying for control of the Premier League club.
Man Utd legend Rio Ferdinand and media outlet Reuters both claimed yesterday that Sheikh Jassim was winning the race to buy the club for around £6bn,
But the Daily Mail has dismissed that a preferred bidder had been chosen and warned Red Devils fans that 'a further eight to 12 weeks "approval process" would follow before a deal is officially approved'.
The report added that 'Ten Hag's transfer budget has been set at around £120m' with the expectation that further funds will be raised by player sales.

It is understood crucially that 'there will be no impact on United's summer transfer business' because of the potential long takeover process.
That leaves Man Utd free to continue their search for a new striker after it was revealed on Friday that Ten Hag could not convince others at the club that it was a good idea to break the bank for Tottenham's Harry Kane.
And now Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manhã says Man Utd are currently 'in the lead' over Paris Saint-Germain as they look to sign Benfica's Ramos.
The Portugal international scored 22 goals in 44 matches in all competitions this season and bagged three more goals in just 153 minutes at the World Cup.
It is claimed that the race for Ramos is now 'intensifying' and that Benfica expect to get ?80m (68m) from his departure despite previously insisting that his ?120m release clause be paid.
And Spanish publication Nacional brings news of another Man Utd target with the Red Devils making a ?100m (£85m) bid for former Chelsea academy prospect Musiala.
The Germany international has been in good form for Bayern Munich this season with Musiala contributing 12 goals and ten assists in 33 Bundesliga appearances.
Nacional adds that Man Utd 'blows up the market' by 'allocating' ?100m of Sheikh Jassim's wealth to the pursuit of Musiala with the former England under-21 international the Qatar's 'first galactic objective'.
The report adds that Musiala 'could put pressure on' Bayern Munich 'to open the doors and accept United's offer' while Real Madrid 'also closely follows' the situation.
