WWE SmackDown is set to be up in terms of contractual obligations on the TV rights deal, and a new rumour apparently has the latest.
According to a new report/rumour from The Wrestling Blog, FOX Network are very satisfied with the viewership of the show and the overall quality of the product.
"There's a possibility of SmackDown stay's at FOX and signs a new tv deal, they are very satisfied with viewership, and the quality of the product. Regarding the USA Network, it was mentioned they are not satisfied with how the RAW product has been handled and not satisfied with the viewership" the account claimed on Twitter.

It's worth noting that these rumours from The Wrestling Blog are just that, rumours, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
FOX Network being happy with the quality of the programming and the upwards trend of the numbers is not a shock, as the show has been doing extremely well recently.
We'll have to wait and see what happens with regard to the show getting renewed, but it's looking like it might happen.
