The new SEC schedule for the 2024 season was released on Wednesday and it features some outstanding matchups.
One of the matchups that will take place is Alabama-Georgia and no, it won't be in the SEC Championship Game. Alabama will host Georgia at home in Tuscaloosa and ESPN's Paul Finebaum thinks it's going to be the "game of the year."
"It will be the game of the year," Finebaum said.
Finebaum definitely makes a good point since these two teams are among the best in college football.
This will likely be a high-scoring affair since both teams are usually stacked offensively (but can also play good defense too).
Who knows, this could be the first of two matchups during the season between the two teams. They've played in the SEC Championship Game in two of the last five seasons and also played each other in the National Championship Game back in 2018.
