Australian trendsetters can now get their hands on exclusive threads by Cider - a brand famous for having items 'sell out in seconds'.

The US-based brand sprung up in Las Angeles in September 2020 - and became an overnight success - has now officially launched in Australia.

Co-founders and friends Fenco Lin and Yu Oppe told FEMAIL the success of their brand is linked to their sustainability model.

Each style is made in a very limited run - which means if Cider fans love it they need to buy it immediately - or miss out.

'We never want to make excessive clothing which just doesn't sell,' they explained.

The brand also takes using 'real people' to the next level - something which appears to have been popular with fans.

'We cast community members in campaigns, names clothes after them, and invites them to test new collection,' they said.

And it works - Cider have 4.5million followers on Instagram - keenly awaiting the next product drop.

The team said clothes have sold to 130 countries - but having an official launch and base in Australia 'made sense'.

'We have experienced organic growth in Australia. We believe that our variety of styles, combined with a mood-driven approach and personalized shopping experience, really resonates with the Australian market,' Fenco explained.

And Oppel agreed.

'We prioritize inclusivity and diversity by creating items that fit different body types and personal styles. By focusing on customer satisfaction and inclusivity, we believe we can create a positive impact on the fashion industry as a whole,' Yu said.

Thousands of people comment and like each post from the brand and dozens more tag them in outfits every day.

The brand's 'get in or miss out' approach appears to keep them relevant, according to comments.

'I must get this today, if you know you know,' one woman wrote.

'When you don't have money but can't afford to miss out - I need to stop stalking this page,' said another.

'I asked a girl about a top and was heartbroken when she said Cider because I knew it would be gone,' a third wrote.
