Lennar Corp. shares ended Thursday's session up 4.4% after the homebuilder reported results that topped Wall Street expectations and hiked its delivery forecast for the year. Wedbush raised its price target for Lennar shares to $123 from $94 Wednesday.
Cava Group Inc. shares ended the session up 97.8% above their initial-public-offering price as the fast-casual chain made its public debut.
Shares of TrueCar Inc. closed up 6.9% after the car-pricing platform announced restructuring plans, which include laying off 24% of its workforce, and named a new chief executive.
Domino's Pizza Inc.'s stock closed up 6.5%. The stock was upgraded to buy from hold by Stifel, with an analyst citing the company's growth potential.
Target Corp.'s stock ended the session up 3.5% Thursday after the retailer announced a dividend increase.
Aldeyra Therapeutics Inc.'s stock closed up 4% after the biotech announced positive results from a late-stage trial of a treatment for allergic conjunctivitis.

Kroger Co. fell a bit short of sales expectations for the latest quarter, and its stock was ended the session down 2.7%.
Shares of SoFi Technologies Inc. ended the session down nearly 2% Thursday, snapping a record winning streak after Oppenheimer moved to the sidelines in downgrading the financial-technology stock.
Shares of hot chip plays including Nvidia Corp. and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. fell after seeing strong recent gains. Networking company Arista Networks Inc.'s stock also pulled back, falling more than 3% and emerging as one of the S&P 500's biggest losers.
Bone Biologics Corp. shares shed more than half their value Thursday after the developer of regenerative medicine revealed the pricing of a stock offering.
Mersana Therpeutics Inc.'s stock cratered almost 60% after the company announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration had placed a partial clinical hold on two trials of a treatment for ovarian cancer after five participants died.
