Limited-series, The Bear follows Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto (played by Shameless alumni Jeremy Allen White), a young fine dining chef. He is forced to return home to run his family sandwich shop after the heartbreaking death of his brother.
As a sandwich shop and a fine dining restaurant are polar opposites in the world of hospitality, we see Carmy grapple with the reality of trading the prestige of running a Michelin-star restaurant for a struggling family business.
In The Bear, we follow Carmy as he navigates this soul-crushing reality in eight impactful episodes for its first season. As for season two, we follow Carmy and his crew as they work through the pains of opening a new restaurant.
