A new leak from Genshin Impact is teasing at least two members of the game's mysterious Hexenzirkel organization will become playable in a future update. The world of Teyvat has seen a wide variety of characters added to the roster of the popular HoYoverse RPG from across its several regions. From gods like the game's many Archons to members of the main antagonists in the Fatui, players have seen the chance to add many different and unique characters to their teams. Now, a new leak is teasing one of Teyvat's most mysterious and clandestine organizations.
While never directly seen within Genshin Impact, the Hexenzirkel have been heavily teased throughout events and the RPG's in-game story. The Hexenzirkel is a mysterious organization of incredibly powerful witches, with little known about the organization outside of mentions of a few key members. Klee's mother, Alice, has been revealed to be part of the Hexenzirkel along with a researcher known as Rhinedottir, with Alice already receiving voiced dialogue in a previous event. Now, leaks are hinting at future playable members of the secretive group.

A recent update shared by prominent Genshin Impact leaker Tao via "Uncle A" has revealed the apparent existence of in-game models for Hexenzirkel members. While no image was shared, likely to be early in development, two members of the Hexenzirkel reportedly already have character models and are expected to be playable. Tao goes on to suggest that each member of the organization that has been properly named may eventually become playable. The leak also teases the death of one of the Hexenzirkel's members with a new member expected to take their place within the mysterious organization.
New leaks about playable Hexenzirkel characters come as fans have long speculated about the eventual release of Alice as a playable character. Alice has been referenced multiple times throughout both Klee's story quest and in-game events starring Mondstadt's "Crimson Knight." Fans of the game have frequently speculated about what Alice may look like with fan concepts about Alice's potential appearance being a popular topic. Klee is not Genshin Impact's only playable connection to the Hexenzirkel as well, with popular five-star character Mona studying under the organization's "Barbeloth."
The Hexenzirkel's first playable members are just some of a plethora of leaks about new characters, both connected to the game's new region and beyond. Fontaine has seen several upcoming characters leaked with some like Lyney and Lynette even having details about their gameplay teased ahead of the region's debut. Genshin Impact's other regions have also seen multiple hints about new characters, including Knights of Favonius Grand Master Varka and more playable Fatui characters. With Fontaine releasing soon, Genshin Impact's roster is set to grow substantially throughout the rest of 2023.
