During a one-on-one interview with Joel Klatt, Colorado football coach Deion Sanders sent a message to his critics.
Sanders told Klatt, "They better shoot now, because in a moment they won't be able to shoot."
This message from Sanders reminded Nebraska fans of something Scott Frost said in July of 2018.
When Frost first started his tenure at Nebraska, he said, "People better get us now, because we're going to keep getting better and better."
Nebraska fans are convinced Sanders is too confident heading into the 2023 season.
"Never go full Scott Frost," a Nebraska fan responded.
"The first two weeks of Nebraska football will be incredible," a second fan tweeted.
Another fan said, "Lol we've seen how this plays out firsthand."
Nebraska and Colorado will square off on Sept. 9 at Folsom Field.
If the Cornhuskers win this showdown, their fan base will most likely troll Sanders on social media. On the other hand, a win for the Buffaloes would create chaos on Twitter.
