Dessert lovers have been left bowled over by a 'genius' hack that allows them to make a DIY chocolate-dipping sauce for a picnic in mere minutes - using nothing but a bar of chocolate and some sunshine.
TikToker Rosa Isabel posted the now-viral instruction video and captioned it: 'Summer snack hack that you should definitely try!'
The eight-second-long video shows Rosa sitting on a picnic sheet, opening up a large bar of chocolate, and then letting it melt in the sun - before dipping some strawberries into the melted bar.
While the hack might seem incredibly simple, it has captivated TikTok, earning more than nine million views and racking up over 150,000 saves by eager foodies wanting to try it out for themselves.
Already, the hack has been put to the test by several other app users, who have been getting very creative with their choice of dipping food.
Thus far, videos have been posted with users dipping chips and Oreos into the melted chocolate.
One user even came up with a 'hack' to prevent a chocolaty mess.
Instead of allowing their chocolate bar to melt in the wrapper, the savvy TikToker opted to break pieces off from the bar, place each cube on top of a half strawberry, then allow the chocolate to melt in the sun.
This resulted in a quick and easy chocolate-covered strawberry snack.
Chocolate lovers are raging about the viral hacks online, and are tagging their friends, and enthusiastically inviting them out for picnic plans, writing: 'Need to do this in the summer x.'
One enthusiastic foodie wrote: 'Oh my God, how have I never thought of this...thank you!'
Another passionately added: 'This is so summer! I love it!'
A sweet guy got a new idea for a romantic night out: 'Saving this to take her out on a date!'
One impatient commentator wrote: 'I'M DOING THIS ASAP!'
However not everyone was convinced by the simple sweet treat - with several people warning that allowing a chocolate bar to melt would no doubt attract a host of insects to join the picnic.
'I have a feeling that doing this on a picnic will attract lots of insects,' one person commented.
Another added: 'All the bugs though!'
A third joked: 'And then there are some insects in my chocolate.'
Others noted that the hack may well be handy for those who live in hot climates, but for anyone who hasn't been blessed with bright sunshine this summer, it is somewhat useless.
'My sun is not suning!' wrote one.
