An enormous water park costing £250million and featuring 20 swimming pools is soon to open in the UK.
Adults and kids alike will be able to splash around in different pools, take on over 35 water slides, or simply unwind at the UK's first indoor beach complete with a wave machine.
Therme Manchester will offer all of this alongside thermal baths, an on-site spa and 30 saunas, as well as a 'wellbeing garden' and fitness classes.
Basically, it's set to be a strong contender for the UK's best water parks when it opens in Manchester, where 1,500 trees will be added to bring a tropical vibe to the whole place.
Construction set to begin this year and expected to take approximately two years to complete.
The work is due to be extensive given the scale and ambition of the project, which includes an indoor wellbeing garden inspired by English meadows for relaxing in and some flumes that let you slide around the external parts of the building.
There will also be an alll-season beach with sun loungers and and palm trees, while a 3D printed superstructure will house thousands of plants in the site's 10,000 sqm garden which will also boast urban farms and beehives.
Therme Manchester will be located in Peel L&P'S TraffordCity, opposite the Trafford Centre and Barton Square.
The water resort was first announced in 2020, but now the company has updated Brits with the completed designs. It will use a "pavilion style concept" of connected buildings to house the dozens of pools in a way that "immerses in the natural landscape".
Plus, you'll be able to access Therme via public transport, canal, car and taxi plus a dedicated tram stop. Car parks mean it's easy to park up and walk to the waterpark too.
Therme Manchester will also use sustainable tech to make the park energy efficient. State of the art treatment and filtration tech means that Therme promises the "freshest air and crystal-clear water".
A statement from the group stated: "Therme Manchester will be a one-of-a-kind destination that offers a fun and relaxing holiday at home while helping to boost the health and wellbeing of all who visit.
"At 28 acres, the size of 19 football pitches, Therme Manchester is expected to become one of the top three all-season water-based destinations in the world."
The resort hasn't yet revealed what people can expect when it comes to ticket prices, but its website does promise 'entry prices to suit every budget'.
If you want to get a taste of what's to come you can head to Therme Bucharest in Romania, which has nine pools, 10 saunas, 16 waterslides and some unusual steam rooms and hammams you're unlikely to have experienced elsewhere.
The best part about Therme Bucharest is its £26 price point - a real bargain for a spa and waterpark all in one. Children and students can get cheaper tickets and you can buy access to the three parts of the spa separately if you're only after one kind of experience.
