Two Americans have been found dead inside their luxury hotel room in Mexico's Baja California peninsula.
Police and paramedics rushed to the Hotel Rancho Pescadero in El Pescadero at around 9pm on Tuesday, where they found the bodies of a man and woman, according to ABC News.
First responders were called after receiving reports the Americans were unconscious. The pair were pronounced dead at the scene.
Baja California Sur Attorney General's Office said in a statement their cause of death was "intoxication by substance to be determined".

The man and woman had been dead for around 10 or 11 hours when they were found inside the hotel room. There were no signs of violence on their bodies, according to the AG's office.
The Hotel Rancho Pescadero in Mexico's Baja California peninsula is a luxurious Hyatt property. Daily Express US has approached Hyatt for comment.
In October, three Americans were found dead in a rented apartment in the country, seemingly from gas inhalation.
The Mexico Police Department had said the three people were found unresponsive in an upscale neighborhood after apparently renting a property for a short visit.
The post-mortem examination suggested the trio died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Four years earlier in 2018, an American couple and their two children died at a resort in Tulum, south of Playa del Carmen, following a gas leak in a water heater.
An inspection found the water heater at the rented accommodation was leaking gas.
Prosecutors said the gas leak may have been caused by a lack of maintenance or the age of the equipment.
In 2010, five Canadian tourists and two Mexicans died following the explosion of a gas line at a hotel in Playa del Carmen.
Prosecutors said gas leaking from the line may have ignited in an explosion by a spark from an electric switch or plug.
