It's been a tough few months for Bruce Willis and his loving family. Readers will likely be well aware that the A-lister has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a degenerative brain condition that has forced him to withdraw from the spotlight, possibly for good.

Indeed, much has been said about the love and support Bruce's family have given him in his darkest hour, but new reports pain a worrying picture regarding the mental health of the star's daughter, Tallulah.

According to Radar Online, the Willis clan are growing increasingly concerned about the mental health of Tallulah Willis as her father's condition continues to worsen.

It was earlier this year that Bruce Willis's family confirmed that the Die Hard actor had been diagnosed with a form of dementia. His daughter, Scout, wrote a particularly heartfelt message after the news became public, stating that she was a "bit overwhelmed".

Last March, Willis announced his retirement from acting after he was formally diagnosed with aphasia. Among other things, the condition reportedly impaired his ability to communicate, making it increasingly difficult for him to work on set.

Fast forward to February of 2023, and his aforementioned diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia was made public. Needless to say, the weeks and months since then have been a battle for the Willis clan, and now new reports suggest they're having to combat another type of trouble.

As per Radar Online, Bruce's daughter, Tallulah, whom he shares with actress Demi Moore, admitted to suffering a bout of anorexia after she was dumped by her fiancè Dillon Buss not even three months after her father's aphasia diagnosis.

Since then there's not been much said for Tallulah's condition, though it's now being claimed that Bruce himself was aware of his daughter's suffering.

"Bruce could see her wasting away and it only made his own problems worse," said a source, as per Radar.

"Bruce was shattered when he saw Tallulah's suffering," the insider went on.

"It got to the point where the family thought it would be better if they weren't around each other at all."

Tallulah herself revealed that she had checked into an in-patient facility after her separation from Dillon. There, she was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.

In a candid recent essay for Vogue, Tallulah opened up to the public on how her struggles with body dysmorphia began when she started taking medication for ADHD.

"I felt smart for the first time," Tallulah said of taking her medication, "but I also started to enjoy the appetite-?suppressant side effect of the meds. I saw a way to banish the awkward adolescent in favor of a flighty little pixie. And like so many people with eating disorders, my sense of myself went haywire."

"There's an unhealthy deliciousness at the beginning of losing weight rapidly. People are like, 'Oh wow!' And then quickly it turns to, 'Are you okay?' My friends and family were terrified, and I dismissed it."

The 29-year-old added: "By the spring of 2022, I weighed about 84 lbs. I was always freezing. I was calling mobile IV teams to come to my house, and I couldn't walk in my Los Angeles neighborhood because I was afraid of not having a place to sit down and catch my breath."

Here's to hoping Tallulah gets all the help she needs and can make a full recovery. We can only imagine the difficult position she's in, what with her father's own health issues to contend with as well.
