When it comes to being an NFL quarterback, Joe Burrow has put himself in the same conversation as Aaron Rodgers. When it comes to being a fan of Taylor Swift, though, Rodgers is in a league of his own. Besides J.J. Watt, Rodgers is probably the most recognizable "Swiftie" in the NFL World. And for better or worse, Burrow is not one of them.
In a couple of weeks, the Eras Tour will be headed to Cincinnati and a reporter asked Burrow if he would be among those in attendance at Paycor Stadium and if he had a favorite song by the prominent pop star.
"I have a lot of respect for what Taylor Swift has done with her career," Burrow said Tuesday. "I can't say that I'm listening to too much Taylor Swift on the speakers and the headphones. I know a lot of people that are, but that's just not me."
Burrow said that he's heard that Swift's mega tour is "a lot of fun" and offered that he would possibly stop by once the Eras Tour reaches Paycor Stadium at the beginning of next month.
So, what does Burrow listen to?
Burrow has often spoken about his admiration for the artist Kid Cudi, but explained that his music taste is "all over the place." Burrow said that he'll listen to indie, hip hop and some pop.
"I'll listen to everything but country," he said. "I'm not a country guy."
Perhaps that's why he's not a fan of Swift, but maybe Rodgers can put him on to some of her hits.
