Summer has barely begun and there is already talk of the foxtrot, Craig Revel Horwood's suits and who will be coupled up with Gemma Collins if her disco ball dream comes true.

We may all be enchanted by the newest series of Love Island but that doesn't mean the BBC haven't got the Strictly glitter ball rolling as rumours continue to circulate about who will take part in this year's competition.

Despite months and months to go, a fair few high-profile celebs including Emmerdale, have thrown their hat into the glittery ring.

It turns out Amy isn't the only soap star eyeing up the sequins and salsa as The Mirror have reported that TWO EastEnders actors are in talks to take part in Strictly 2023.

Bobby Brazier and Priya Davdra are the two celebs whose names are working their way around the rumour mill and it'll be the battle of the soaps if Amy is also a contestant on the show.

Although Bobby, who plays Freddie Slater, is still a key character in EastEnders, Priya is no longer part of the soap but made history when she was cast as the first Muslim lesbian character to live on Albert Square.

According to reports, Amy has been inspired by Strictly 2022 finalist Helen Skelton who took part in the dance competition after splitting from her rugby player husband Richie Myler.

Amy played Chloe Atkinson on the ITV soap between 2000 and 2005 and Ethel Parks in Downton Abbey in Downton for 15 episodes in 2011-2012. She recently hit the headlines after splitting from her actor husband Andrew Buchan. He's rumoured to have moved in with his co-star Leila Farzad, who he's currently starring alongside in BBC One's Better.

A source told The Sun, "Amy has been left broken by Andrew's actions and feels humiliated by the whole ordeal.

"She wants to move on and not let the messy break-up define her. Strictly would be the perfect way for her to do that and hopefully restore the confidence she is lacking right now."

Another celeb who is keen to put on their dancing shoes is Love Island 2022 who put herself forward to compete.

During an Instagram Q&A, Tasha was asked whether she would ever consider doing Strictly, to which she responded, "Trust me!!! I would love to ?? It's a huge goal of mine as dancing is my passion, always got to dream big!"

Manifest. Manifest. Manifest.

As brilliant as Tasha's inclusion on the next series would be, we're not sure how she fits in to the current rules, given that she is, technically, already a professional dancer. OMG, new professional? We're keeping everything crossed.

To balance out Tasha's sweet disposition and inevitably boss dance moves, the show would need to recruit a celeb who can really bring the drama. And who would be better to create drama and memorable moments than the always iconic Gemma Collins?

As a guest on the Christmas special of the Not My Bagg podcast, The GC chatted about her reality TV career and co-host Joe Baggs asked Gemma what TV show she would like to take part in.

Gemma didn't hesitate before mentioning everyone's favourite dance competition as she revealed, "I would love to do Strictly, I think them having a plus size woman on there this year was great."

After a spectacular win from Hazma Yassin at last year's final, rumours about who will be competing on Strictly next year quickly began circulating and Gemma was not the first reality TV star whose name was thrown around.

It was, in fact, another blonde bombshell who has also appeared on TOWIE who got us all VERY EXCITED. Yep, none other than the queen of witty comebacks, Olivia Attwood.

We were all truly gutted when she had to quitI'm A Celeb in 2022 but the Love Island 2017 star now has her sights set on the glitterball trophy and - seeing as we are low key obsessed with her - we need this to happen.

The ex-Islander told her followers during an Instagram Q&A that she would love the be part of the Strictly magic. Oh, please make this happen BBC, it would be a dream come true (for us, at least).

Taking to her Instagram Story she answered the question, "Do you have any other dream reality tv shows you'd like to go on?"

Olivia responded, "Erm maybe let's say Strictly now??! ?? ?? baby giraffe ?? can you imagine x."

We assume that's a nod to Olivia's height and slender frame, but if we recall correctly, Abby Clancy did pretty damn well on the dancing competition (she actually won in 2013 alongside dancing profess Aljaz Skorjanec) and she is all long limbs too, Liv, so don't count yourself out.

Olivia was the first Love Island contestant to take part in I'm A Celeb (fleeting as it may have been) and if all our prayers are answered and she joins Strictly, she'll be the first Islander to compete on that too. Look at our Olivia, out here breaking records and that.

When Olivia mysteriously left the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle, nobody was more upset than the reality TV star herself.

But taking part in Strictly is a surefire way to make anybody's day better. After all, what higher compliment is there than being called "fab-u-lous" by Craig Revel Horwood? It's our goal in life.
