Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale brings back the infamous Dingle court tonight (June 12) as Caleb Miligan's future in the village remains uncertain.

Caleb's brother Cain takes charge by bringing the family together for a heated debate on the schemer's fate.

Last week's episodes saw Caleb's true identity finally exposed as Kim Tate caught him out for trying to steal Home Farm away from her.

The Dingles were shocked to learn that Caleb had been lying to them ever since he arrived in the village - and that he was prepared to see Cain and Moira lose everything as part of his ruthless plan.

In Monday's episode, Cain wants to drive Caleb out of the village as quickly as possible. However, it seems that Caleb isn't keen to leave, as he has taken up residence at the B&B after being kicked out of The Woolpack by his sister Chas.

Cain also soon realises that some other members of the family aren't on the same page. Nate Robinson suggests that the clan deserve a chance to debate Caleb's wrongdoing, so Cain puts out the call for the Dingle court to convene.

Regular Emmerdale viewers will know that the Dingles are fond of holding a "court" whenever someone breaks the family code. This always culminates in a vote on whether they deserve another chance or need to be cast out for good.

With some members of the family busy or away from the village, it's left to Belle, Cain, Charity, Chas, Moira, Nate, Noah, Sam and Zak to do the honours.

Cain deliberately excludes Caleb, not wanting to give him a chance to defend himself. However, Caleb finds out what's going on and makes a surprise appearance.

Caleb is adamant that he's staying in the village regardless of how the vote goes, but will it really be his choice?

Plus, with Emmerdale's Caleb-focused whodunit set to begin later in the week, will there be any early clues over the culprit?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
