Jun. 10-Watch for "Mary J. Blige's Real Love," a movie set to premiere Saturday, June 10 at 8 p.m. EST on the Lifetime Channel and available to stream the next day.
An iconic singer who has already had a big year on TV after hosting a limited talk show for the first time, Blige wrote "Real Love," as well as a second film to air on Lifetime.
"I wrote 'Real Love' based on my real-life experiences and my fans connected to it in a deeply personal way," Blige said, as reported by Vibe.
Blige also reportedly executive produced.

ABOUT 'REAL LOVE'
According to the Lifetime website, "Real Love" follows 18-year-old Kendra (Ajiona Alexus) as she sets off on her own for the first time at an HBCU in North Carolina.
Attending on a scholarship, Kendra is determined to focus on school while balancing work study and keeping things professional with Ben (Da'Vinchi), her photo class partner.
Despite disapproving parents, financial hardship, and even an unexpected pregnancy, Kendra and Ben find themselves falling hard for each other and ultimately learning the meaning of "Real Love." Even when Kendra realizes that in order to pursue her dreams, she must leave Ben behind, it's certain that their story isn't over.
